The familiar words “on the night before He was betrayed…”in the
institution of the Lord’s supper draws our attention tonight. We will remember the
sacrament Jesus gave to His church, and we’ll also rejoice in the New Covenant that we
are called to be part of, even in the face of Jesus’ impending crucifixion.
